I'm Abby, a student at Colts Neck High School. I met Kennedy six years ago when he was a home health aide for my stepdad’s father (Norm).  At a family gathering, Kennedy told me stories about Ghana, the country he is from, and how all students did not have access to proper school supplies to receive a quality education. I was saddened to hear this and realized how privileged I am to go to school with a Chromebook and many other supplies. At a young age, I found a passion for math in school and I could not imagine school without workbooks and math flashcards. After learning about the schools in Ghana, I want to help the students find their passions in school, similarly to how I found my passion in math with access to countless educational resources.
